A full day adventure through the stunning outdoor reserves surrounding Marysville

Join HACO-accredited guides on this rewarding day trip from Melbourne, this trail climbs steeply to Keppel Lookout before easing through forests and waterfalls, with stunning views from Oxley, Del La Rue, and Steavenson Falls lookouts.

During the hike, LUYIP.’s Dan Flood will empower a mindset circle—blending movement with reflection, honest conversation, and purpose-driven breakthroughs.

Cap it off with a gourmet spread (meats, cheeses, focaccia & banana bread) and media coverage of your journey.

This isn’t just a hike—it’s a transformation.

  • Once onboarded, participants will be invited to join the event’s WhatsApp group chat, where HACO will share key details such as gear requirements, weather updates, and respond to any questions. It also provides an opportunity for LUYIP to support those with any fears or concerns ahead of the hike.

  • The group will meet at a rendezvous point to be announced by HACO at 7.00am

    HACO INTRODUCTION
    HACO will go through its Pre-Hike Information Checklist covering safety expectations and equipment demonstration.

    LUYIP INTRODUCTION
    LUYIP will begin by acknowledging and celebrating the group, setting the tone for the hike, and introducing their role in guiding the day’s experience.

    The group to depart in a pre-arranged car pool at 7.30am

  • The drive to the hike’s starting location takes approximately 2 hours. The expected arrival is approximately 9.30am

    HACO
    Upon arrival, HACO will ensure all participants are fully prepared by conducting checks on packs, water, apparel, and equipment.

    LUYIP
    A brief, accessible breathing and grounding exercise will be offered to help everyone settle into their bodies and release the distractions of the outside world before commencing the hike.

  • The expected commencement of the hike will occur at approximately 10.00am.

  • The hike is expected to take between 4-5 hours to complete.

    HACO RESPONSIBILITIES
    During the hike, HACO will guide the group safely along the trail while also monitoring the health and fitness of each participant.

    LUYIP GROUNDING MOMENTS
    Throughout the hike, during short stops and at key points along the trail, LUYIP will support and motivate the particpants.

  • It is expected the the hike will end at approximately 3pm to 4pm.

    HACO REFRESHMENTS
    At the conclusion of the hike, HACO will serve a gourmet food platter featuring a delicious assortment of cured meats, cheeses, seasonal fruits, freshly baked banana bread, and focaccia, along with a complimentary Hydralyte beverage.

    LUYIP REFLECTION
    As the hike winds down, LUYIP will guide the group through a grounding circle—a chance to pause, reflect, and share. The group will settle their energy, have space for journaling or discussion, be invited to share, hear a short story of resilience, and collectively create a post-hike mantra to carry forward off the trail.

  • The hiking group is expected to return to the morning rendezvous point at approximately 6.00pm to conclude the day.
